Stamp-a-Faire Ribbon Techniques Challenge

The second activity on the Stamp-a-Faire agenda was a great ribbon technique challenge.  On Nichole Heady's blog there were three GREAT tutorials by three amazing DT members.  You were asked to incorporate one of the techniques demonstrated in the tutorials into a project of your own.  I chose one of the techniques presented by Melissa Phillips found here.  Here's my project:


As you can see, the ribbon I used in this project is the leaves next to the flower.  This is such a simple little technique, but so stinkin' cute!  Melissa presented several other ways to use ribbon as leaves which I hope to use in the future.  The inside of this card reads, "a happy birthday, just a little bit late."  Here's a closer look at the ribbon technique used:
