My first project is very Dawn McVey inspired! I just love her! Here it is:
See what I mean? Very Dawn McVey with all the layers, no? I've been dying to use the patterned paper in the background and I think it is set off perfectly with the black background.
Thanks for stopping by and come back again to see my other entries in the hop!

ReplyDeleteReally pretty Kate.
ReplyDeletevery pretty card - love Dawn McVey too!
ReplyDeleteWow, Kate--all three of your entries this month are just gorgeous. And, so different, too! You are one creative gal.
ReplyDeleteFor sure, I can see Dawn in there! Like your last powder blue and cream, the colors on this one are marvelous! Nice flow, too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful color choices, and I love the white leaves. (Note to self: Leaves don't have to be green. Remember how good they looked in white!) I did three cards for this challenge too. When the idea hits you just right, you can't stop at one....like potato chips.
ReplyDeleteWow this is so pretty! Love the yellow patterned paper and the roses! The yellow with black really pops!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautiful with the yellow and black. Such a lovely card with just enough bling.
ReplyDeleteThe layout is awesome, as is that patterned paper! This is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - love your color palette and the white leaves are a perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteOoooh that background paper! Gorgeous. Yes, that color combo is striking on black. Great composition, too!
ReplyDeleteYellow, grey and black is a very trendy colour combo. I love the way you used the background paper and half & half die. It really 'grounds' the images and creates a very unified look.
ReplyDeleteGreat composition, and you're right about that patterned paper. Delicious!
