As a mom of three boys, the only time I seem to have to do the things I love is on the fly. I love card making as well as other paper related crafts and this blog is dedicated to that passion!

Meagan's Birthday
Hi everyone! This card features my second attempt at creating my own background paper (so much fun!). This cheerful card is for my very special next door neighbor, Meagan. Meagan is turning 11 and she is so very special to me! She's the daughter I never had!
I definitely wanted to make something fun and girly for her! So, this card features PTI's Dot Spot collection for the background in some really fun cheerful colors. The inks are Stampin' Up's Groovy Guava, Summer Sun, and Pink Passion, and also Color Box's Moss Green. The cardstock is PTI's Stamper's Select White, and Mellon Berry. The outside and inside sentiment stamps are from Hero Arts. On the inside, I used a ruler and two fine colored Sharpies to create a cute little border. I can't wait to give this fun card to Miss Meagan!
As always, thanks for visiting! Please feel free to leave your comments...I love hearing from you! I hope you stop by again soon!
